Dreamy shots by Deniz Hotamisligil. Great work.
Google broadcast its first TV ad promoting its search engine during last night’s Superbowl. The slot is one of those pinnacles of US advertising, with a great history – ’1984′ to name just one! The ad called Parisian Love was a 53-second simple, product focused examination of how good the Google search engine is. At an estimated cost of $5m (£3.2m), it remains to be seen if the investment brings a return, and if the ad stands up to its illustrious list of fellow Superbowl spectacles.

Is it right to go to a museum just to ‘experience’ their interactive displays? Well, (sorry) but a recent trip to Stoke-on-Trent was wholly inspires by AllofUs great work for The Wedgwood Museum. Having a great history in installations, I didn’t think I’d be disappointed, and I wasn’t, I had a smashing time (excuse the pun!!). I even though the history was interesting. Just the interactives alone are well worth the trip – oh careful!

Just when you think everyone’s pretty much done everything cool on the web you stumble across a site that makes you stop and go ‘Wow – what a great idea’. Wrangler have commissioned a great site their Blue Bell Spring/Summer 2010 collection.
How do you show the textural quality of clothing online? How do you convey its flexibility, its movement, its quality? Well you create a fully interactive experience, where users can quite literally rip the clothes off the models back. A very well crafted site, that surprises, entertains and had me mailing my friends the link.

Academy have created another great site – this time for the 25th anniversary edition of Air Jordan trainers.
The site is a visual feast of video interviews and integrated feature call-outs. It’s a stunning experience that Academy say is ‘inspired by the shoe’s iconic design’. Beautifully crafted and rich in the visual, the site opens insights into the products development, articulates the passions behind the product, and looks amazing. Great work.

Verbatim has created the really wonderful Verbatim Championship site, aimed primarily at their Japanese market. The site enables the user to create their very own ‘monster’ (from Verbatim products) before issuing a challenge to fight. The more you win the more power you gain.
A brilliant way of engaging with the target audience, and giving them a reason to get involved, and spread the word about the power of Verbatim.
Relevant, abruptive, viral and excellent. Get your fight on.
