
The Royal Institute of British Architects has been awarding the President’s Medals since the 1850s and the awards were established in their current format in 1984. This year’s winner is Nicholas Szczepaniak of University of Westminster London UK.
Nicholas states that his thesis is intended to expose unexpected readings of the built environment in the future if we don’t take more drastic steps to deal with climate change.
